In what format do you send my print designs to me? We email our finished print work to you in press ready .pdf format. This is accepted at nearly every commercial print outlet. Should you have any specific file requirements (like InDesign packages etc) then please let us know. For further information about Adobe pdf see here
I plan to print my own "one-sheet" on a bubble-jet printer, will this work? Certainly it will. They are simply 300dpi pdf files. View them in Acrobat Reader and hit print.
What size images should i send for ue in my print project? This is a major cause of delays with client print work. Images to be used for high quality print work need to be very large format. They are printed at 300dpi. As a rough guide, your screen resolution on a 17" monitor is 1024 pixels wide at 72dpi. So basically, if you can see the whole image on screen at it's "real" size, it's not big enough! |
